Manufacturing Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer - Bishops Stortford

Opportunity to join a skilled team within an established precision engineering company. You'll play a key role in turning customer drawings and requirements into efficient manufacturing plans for components and assemblies.

What You'll Do:

• Manufacturing Planning: Create manufacturing methods, BOMs, routings and production plans.
• Job Packs: Prepare job travellers and collate technical information for production.
• Technical Interpretation: Translate drawings, specifications and quality requirements into practical processes.
• Production Support: Work with supervisors and operators to resolve issues and optimise manufacturing methods.
• Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers and engineering teams on technical queries.
• Quality: Support NCRs, RCCAs and engineering issues through to resolution.

What We're Looking For:

• Manufacturing experience, ideally within aerospace or a regulated environment.
• Engineering qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong understanding of drawings, BOMs, routings and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent planning, communication and problem-solving skills.
• MRP/ERP experience and CATIA V5 knowledge would be advantageous.
• Organised, results-focused and willing to learn.

Permanent opportunity based in Bishops Stortford, with a half-day Friday. Current UK right to work required.
