You'll take ownership of your own set of products, working from drawing and specification through NPI, developing manufacturing processes and then getting hands-on with machining and/or fabrication to ensure the finished product is manufactured correctly, efficiently and to the required standard.
This is hands-on engineering role, combines manufacturing engineering with practical shop-floor involvement. You'll work closely with production and quality teams, solving problems, improving processes and ensuring products move successfully from drawing through to production.

Job Description
- Manage your own products from New Product Introduction (NPI) through to finished production
- Interpret engineering drawings and develop practical manufacturing processes to deliver the finished product
- Provide hands-on support across machining and/or fabrication operations
- Work closely with production to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes
- Create and maintain manufacturing routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), SOPs and engineering documentation
- Support root cause investigations using 5 Why, 3C, 8D and other structured problem-solving techniques
- Identify opportunities to improve engineering and manufacturing efficiency through continuous improvement, automation and AI technologies

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
- Experience within a highly regulated manufacturing environment
- Experience with machining and/or fabrication
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
