In this role, you will define, validate, and support the manufacturing process from initial engineering definition, ensuring HSE, quality, cost, and delivery requirements are met-with a focus on both people and innovation.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Define manufacturing processes to ensure consistency and compliance with specifications and One Safran standards.
- Design manufacturing with a Takt/Flow mindset and a focus on ergonomic risk.
- Create and validate SOPs, work instructions, quality control points, methods of inspection, and controls approval for engineering disciplines.
- Develop routes, BOMs, master layouts, tooling requests, data sheets, COSs, production support drawings, tooling definition, and CAM/NC data.
- Ensure process design meets targets for quality, cost, and delivery.
Provide technical guidance to internal and external suppliers.
- Plan, coordinate, and drive industrial product validation activities.
Manage engineering risk in the UAP using PFMEA and SPC to ensure process sustainability and repeatability.
- Lead and deliver projects within your scope.
- Provide line/process support to ensure product flow meets commitments.
- Engage in lean projects and incorporate process improvements into ERP systems.
- Participate in governance meetings, QRQC meetings, audits, problem-solving (8D, DMAIC), rate readiness, and capital investment exercises.
- Identify and escalate any product or people safety risks using company methods.
- Take personal accountability for continuous professional development.

- Sound understanding of engineering definition for industrialisation; able to work independently.
- Technical Stamp (or ability to attain within 6 months for new entrants).
- Demonstrable experience using DMAIC.
- Good working knowledge of site manufacturing processes.
- Experience in timely project delivery with a focus on cost.
- Promoter of product and process integrity.
- Working knowledge of the One Safran Manufacturing Handbook.
- Able to meet all requirements within the skills matrix at the set level.

Tools

- Familiar with MRPII (ERP), Project Management, and PLM systems.
- Experience with Catia (or equivalent CAD/CAM).
- Good desktop tools proficiency.

Qualifications

- BEng in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
