Job Description:

As Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a key role between Sales and Production, ensuring the shop floor has accurate drawings, documentation and manufacturing information required to successfully deliver each project.

The Manufacturing Engineer will review new contracts and sales estimates, understand customer requirements and translate this information into clear and complete manufacturing documentation.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Checking incoming materials against specification and resolving discrepancies.
  • Producing 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD/CAM software.
  • Supporting offline CNC programming where required.
  • Working closely with Sales, Production and shop-floor engineering teams.
  • Contributing towards improvements in estimating accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.

The Manufacturing Engineer will have genuine input into how work is planned and executed, making this particularly suited to someone who combines practical machining knowledge with strong technical and problem-solving ability.
