Contract: 6-month fixed term - Hours: 37.5 hours per week, full-time

Rullion is recruiting on behalf of our client for a Manufacturing Engineering Early Career Professional to join their Digital Industries team at their world-class manufacturing facility in Congleton.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or someone at the beginning of their engineering career who wants to gain hands-on experience within a global engineering and technology organisation.
The opportunity
Working alongside experienced engineering, production, quality and supply-chain teams, you'll gain practical exposure to how products move from initial design through to volume manufacturing.
You'll have the opportunity to:
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects
* Help investigate and resolve manufacturing and process issues
* Work with cross-functional teams to improve product yield
* Support continuous improvement initiatives
* Help develop manufacturing processes, work instructions and assembly tools
* Analyse production and quality data to identify improvement opportunities
* Gain exposure to digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 technologies
* Contribute to sustainability and waste-reduction initiatives
Who are we looking for?
We're interested in your potential, curiosity and willingness to learn - you don't need years of industry experience.
You'll ideally have:
🎓 A recent BEng, BSc, MEng or equivalent qualification in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Product Design or another relevant engineering discipline.
You'll also have an interest in manufacturing, product development or production operations, alongside good communication and problem-solving skills and a genuine desire to develop your engineering career.
Experience with CAD, data analysis, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, FMEA, 8D, PDCA, MES or digital manufacturing would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
Experience gained through university projects, placements, internships, volunteering or personal engineering projects is absolutely welcomed.
