Manufacturing Facilities Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to join our client's manufacturing business. The successful candidate will lead the relocation of our factory to a new site and then take ongoing responsibility for managing and maintaining the facility.

This is a permanent role requiring someone with proven experience in relocating a manufacturing facility or factory, combined with strong facilities management experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the relocation of the factory to a new location.
  • Manage contractors, suppliers, and service providers throughout the move.
  • Ensure the safe installation and commissioning of equipment and production lines.
  • Minimise disruption to operations and production during the relocation.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the facility once operational.
  • Manage maintenance programmes, utilities, building services, and site infrastructure.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities across the site.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience successfully relocating a factory or manufacturing facility.
  • Facilities manufacturing management experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Experience managing contractors and external suppliers.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
