An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Manufacturing Operative to join a well-established manufacturing plant in Bury St Edmunds, playing a key role in the production process.
Working hours are on a rotational basis of 12 hour day and night shifts (Includes weekends)
Duties –
- Operate and monitor production equipment
- Ensure products meet quality standards
- Help meet daily and weekly production targets
- Keep the work area clean and safe
- Follow health, safety, and environmental rules
- Support stock control and stock takes
- Work with maintenance to reduce downtime
- Communicate with team members to keep production running smoothly
Skills & Experience –
- Experience in manufacturing or production
- Ability to work with machinery
- Good organisation and IT skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of production processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing (helpful but not essential)
