You don't need previous setting experience. What matters is that you're comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, have a good eye for detail and have experience using basic hand measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres.

As a Manufacturing Operative, you'll work as part of a skilled production team manufacturing high-precision components for the aerospace industry.

You'll be working in a quality-focused environment where accuracy, attention to detail and following processes correctly are essential.

You'll receive training on the specific machinery and processes used by the business, giving you the opportunity to develop your skills and build a long-term career within aerospace manufacturing.

• Operate manufacturing machinery following training and established processes.
• Produce precision components to the required quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Use verniers, micrometres and other hand measuring equipment to check components.
• Carry out basic quality and dimensional checks.
• Identify and report any issues with components or machinery.
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records.
• Follow aerospace quality procedures and company processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment.
• Follow all health and safety requirements.
• Work as part of a team to achieve production and quality targets.

You must have experience using basic hand measuring equipment such as:

• Verniers
• Micrometres
• Other basic inspection/measuring equipment

Previous setting experience is not essential, although it would be beneficial.
