Location: Warrington (7 Kingsland Grange)

Position Type: Full-Time, 12-Month Contract (37.5 hours/week)

Shift: Days | Monday - Thursday: 7:15 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday: 7:15 AM - 11:45 AM

Pay Rate: £14.01/hr (£27,325 per annum equivalent)

Overtime: Available



About the Opportunity

We are looking for dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operators to join a successful, growing global organisation committed to quality and innovation. In this role, you will work within a supportive team environment in a clean manufacturing facility, contributing directly to important, high-quality production processes.



Key Responsibilities

  • Manufacturing & Packaging: Oversee the assembly of packaging components (boxes, inserts, labels) and manufacture closed products within a clean environment while adhering to standard operating procedures and wearing required PPE.
  • Labelling & Inventory: Accurately print, verify, and apply product labels along with necessary regulatory and safety information using in-process testing.
  • Quality Control: Implement quality checks to ensure packaging meets established specifications; conduct regular inspections to identify and correct defects or inconsistencies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sanitise, and calibrate basic laboratory instruments. Monitor and update calibration schedules to ensure compliance on time.
  • Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain clean, orderly, and safe laboratory and manufacturing work areas. Comply with safety protocols, hazardous waste management programs, and maintain consumable supplies.
  • Teamwork: Train team members (once fully trained yourself) and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Education: Qualified to Bachelor's degree level in a relevant life sciences field OR equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Experience in a manufacturing or cleanroom production environment is preferred, but not essential.

Skills:

  • Strong computer literacy (proficient in Microsoft software applications).
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately and meet production targets.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Mindset: Flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing tasks at short notice.
