This role will be based at their site in Gateshead and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.
The Role
Reporting to the Production Manager, your main responsibility will be to assist in the manufacture, filling, labelling and packaging of components.
Responsibilities:
- To manufacture, fill, label and package kits and components, adhering to quality standards.
- Assist in the manufacture of laboratory reagents such as antisera and buffers.
- Set up production runs and produce consistent and reliable products.
- Maintain daily stock control duties.
- Work to GMP guidelines.
Essential Skills:
- BSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.
- Adherence to Health & Safety, COSHH guidelines, and to the requirements of ISO13485.
- Prior experience in a similar manufacturing environment would be desirable.
- A good understanding of electrophoresis.
