Manufacturing Stores Operative

Chalgrove | £33,102–£34,328 (inc. shift allowance) | Permanent | 4 on 4 off

A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Chalgrove is looking for a Manufacturing Stores Operative to join its team. You'll be working across packing, stores, and internal logistics functions, keeping materials and components moving efficiently through a busy production environment.

What you'll be doing:

• Primary and final packing of parts, components, and products to customer and technical requirements
• Validating batch numbers, part descriptions, and quantities against SAP, flagging any discrepancies
• Ensuring goods are packed correctly with appropriate materials, labels, and addresses clearly visible
• Liaising with logistics and shipping teams to ensure goods are ready for dispatch in line with delivery schedules
• Picking, packing, and issuing materials and stock from Detail Stores and Raw Material Stores
• Taking receipt of materials, goods, and stock from the main factory and external sources
• Internal transportation of goods throughout the factory using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers, and scissor lift equipment
• Undertaking Raw Material Stores duties including saw operation (cutting to size) and basic measurement inspection
• Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks in line with procedures
• Supporting 5S and continuous improvement activities
• Adhering to all H&S regulations throughout

What you need:

• Stores, packing, or warehouse experience from a manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)
• Structured and methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable handling physical loads and working at pace
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence desirable - successful candidates will be put forward for forklift truck training
