A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for a Manufacturing Stores Operative to join its team on a permanent basis.
It's a role that sits at the centre of the operation — covering packing, stores and internal logistics to keep materials and components moving efficiently through a busy production environment. If you're reliable, organised and take pride in doing things properly, you'll fit right in.
The Role
• Primary and final packing of parts, components and products to customer and technical requirements
• Validating batch numbers, part descriptions and quantities against SAP, flagging any discrepancies
• Ensuring goods are packed correctly with appropriate materials, labels and addresses clearly visible
• Liaising with logistics and shipping teams to keep goods on track for dispatch
• Picking, packing and issuing materials and stock from Detail Stores and Raw Material Stores
• Receiving materials, goods and stock from the main factory and external sources
• Moving goods internally using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers and scissor lift equipment
• Supporting Raw Material Stores duties including saw operation and basic measurement inspection
• Carrying out self-inspection and quality checks in line with procedures
• Contributing to 5S and continuous improvement activities
• Following all H&S regulations throughout
What We're Looking For
• Experience in stores, packing or warehousing within a manufacturing environment
• Methodical and structured, with strong attention to detail
• Physically capable and comfortable keeping pace in a busy environment
• Good communication skills and able to follow instructions accurately
• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence desirable — forklift truck training provided for the right candidate
