Manufacturing Stores Operative

A globally recognised aerospace manufacturer in Denham is looking for a Manufacturing Stores Operative to join its team on a permanent basis.

This is a hands-on role that keeps production running smoothly — spanning packing, stores and internal logistics in a busy aerospace environment where accuracy, organisation and reliability are essential every single day.

The Role

• Packing parts, components and products to primary and final standard, in line with customer and technical requirements

• Checking batch numbers, part descriptions and quantities against SAP and flagging discrepancies promptly

• Ensuring all goods leave correctly packed, with appropriate materials, clear labelling and accurate addresses

• Coordinating with logistics and shipping teams to keep dispatch running to schedule

• Picking, packing and issuing materials and stock from Detail Stores and Raw Material Stores

• Receiving and booking in materials, goods and stock from the factory and external sources

• Transporting goods safely around the site using forklift trucks, electric pallet stackers and scissor lift equipment

• Supporting Raw Material Stores activity including saw operation and basic measurement inspection

• Completing self-inspection and quality checks in line with procedures

• Taking part in 5S and continuous improvement activities

• Adhering to all H&S regulations throughout

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in stores, packing or warehousing within a manufacturing environment

• Methodical and well-organised, with a strong eye for detail

• Physically capable and comfortable working at pace in a fast-moving environment

• Good communicator who can follow instructions accurately and consistently

• Basic IT skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

• Full UK driving licence desirable — forklift truck training provided for the right candidate
