Manufacturing Team Leader | Shop Floor Leadership | Up to £32,000
A well-established manufacturer near Petersfield is looking for a Manufacturing Team Leader to run the day-to-day performance of its manufacturing area.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You will organise the team, keep work moving through machining and manual production, and hold standards on quality, delivery and health & safety.
The role
- Lead and organise the team across machining, saws and manual preparation
- Allocate daily work and keep jobs moving through to the next stage
- Improve productivity and remove bottlenecks
- Maintain quality, safety and process standards
- Support coaching, feedback and development of the team
- Work with production, technical, maintenance and other departments
- Drive practical continuous improvement on the shop floor
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a manufacturing, machining or workshop environment
- Previous leadership or team leader experience
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Confidence organising people and priorities
- Ability to read drawings / technical information
