Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Team Leader to support daily production operations, lead a team and ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on manufacturing environment, motivating colleagues and keeping production running smoothly. The successful candidate must be comfortable working alternating shift patterns.

Salary: £16 p/h
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the manufacturing team to meet production targets and deadlines
- Coordinate daily workloads and allocate tasks to ensure an efficient workflow
- Monitor production processes to maintain quality, accuracy and consistency
- Ensure products are manufactured in line with specifications and required standards
- Identify and resolve production issues, escalating concerns where necessary
- Promote a safe working environment and ensure health and safety procedures are followed
- Monitor productivity and identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes
- Support the training and development of team members, sharing knowledge and best practice
- Ensure equipment, tools and work areas are kept clean, organised and well maintained
- Communicate effectively with management and other departments to support production requirements
- Maintain accurate production records and report on progress, issues and performance
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Experience in a team leader, supervisory or senior operative role, or demonstrable leadership ability
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workloads
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Good communication skills and the ability to motivate and support colleagues
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- A strong commitment to health and safety
- Flexibility and willingness to work alternating shift patterns
