Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary (6 months)
  • Hourly Rate: £13.53
  • Working Pattern: Full Time (Mon - Fri, 07:00 - 15:30)
  • Location: Edgbaston

Key Responsibilities:
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in the operations team, ensuring impeccable performance and innovative ideas are at the forefront of production. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently managing your workload against a published plan.
  • Overseeing inventory to ensure materials are available for completing assigned tasks.
  • Performing scheduled activities for designated equipment, area, or function.
  • Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives proactively.
  • Taking ownership of your work to ensure it is completed 'right first time'.
  • Assisting with any other duties as reasonably required.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting, or related environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to learn, understand, and carry out instructions effectively.
  • Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills.

Preferred Experience:

    • Experience in a cGMP environment and workload management will be advantageous.
