Location: Loughborough (LE11 5RH)
Pay Rate: £13.20/hr + 14% Shift Allowance (Equivalent to £24,258/yr)
Shift Pattern: Alternating Early / Back Shifts (Mon-Fri: Week 1 06:00-14:00 | Week 2 13:45-21:45)
Contract: 3-Month Contract (Immediate Start)

About the Role
We are recruiting a Manufacturing Technician to join a leading chemical manufacturing facility in Loughborough. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the day-to-day packing, weighing, labeling, and movement of chemical products while upholding strict safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Chemical Packaging: Pack chemicals into various containers, drums, sacks, and IBCs following safety protocols.
Measuring & Weighing: Use a range of measuring and weighing equipment to fill product batches accurately.
UN Labeling & Compliance: Seal packs and apply correct UN and supply labels matching batch codes and specifications.
Computer Logging: Complete system transactions for finished goods and inventory updates.
Palletizing & Warehouse Support: Secure completed packs, palletize goods, and move raw materials/finished products safely.
Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere to Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) guidelines, run quality checks, and maintain a clean 5S workspace.
Key Requirements
Background in manufacturing, chemical handling, warehousing, or production environments.
Physically fit and comfortable handling heavy materials (drums, sacks, IBCs).
Basic computer literacy for logging stock entries.
Strong focus on workplace health & safety, procedure compliance, and attention to detail.
Available for alternating early and back shifts in Loughborough (LE11 5RH).
