The Opportunity

We are working with a well-known organisation based in Brandesburton to recruit a Market Research Coordinator to join their team.

This is a varied role supporting the Business Development & Analytics function, with a strong focus on market research, data, CRM management and business intelligence. You will play an important part in ensuring the team has accurate and relevant information to identify new opportunities, support sales activity and make informed commercial decisions.

The role also offers the opportunity to embrace AI technology, using emerging tools to improve research, data management and the quality of business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify potential business opportunities.

  • Research and maintain accurate information relating to prospects, customers, markets and sectors.

  • Manage and update CRM records, ensuring information is complete, accurate and kept up to date.

  • Gather and analyse data to support lead generation and business development activity.

  • Provide the wider team with relevant market intelligence and research findings.

  • Identify and monitor relevant industry frameworks and opportunities for the business.

  • Use AI tools to enhance research, improve efficiency and support data analysis.

  • Help maintain high standards of data quality across business systems.

  • Produce reports and information to support commercial and strategic decision-making.

  • Work closely with colleagues across Business Development, Sales and Analytics to provide effective research and administrative support.

About You

We are looking for someone who is naturally curious, analytical and highly organised, with a genuine interest in understanding markets and using data to identify opportunities.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience within business development, sales support, market research, data administration, marketing or a similar role.

  • Experience using CRM systems and maintaining large volumes of business data.

  • Strong research and information-gathering skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot inaccuracies.

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • A methodical approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • An interest in developing your knowledge and practical use of AI tools and technology.
