A manufacturing business in Leicester is looking for a Marketing Associate to join its marketing team on a fixed-term contract of one year. Working alongside the Marketing Manager, you will play a hands-on role across a broad range of marketing activities, from digital campaigns to content creation and event support.
The role:
Support the development and delivery of marketing plans, brand initiatives, and integrated campaigns across digital, print, and social media
- Assist with website content, SEO, SEM, and other digital marketing activities
- Write and edit a variety of communications, including press releases, social media posts, presentations, and case studies
- Provide support at trade shows, facility visits, and other company events
- Monitor and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and media activity
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, external agencies, and partners to meet marketing objectives
- Contribute to consumer research and competitor analysis
What you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field (ideal but not essential)
- Willingness and ability to travel
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Good project management and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
