Marketing Co-ordinator
Brand Recruitment
Marketing Coordinator – Hertfordshire
Hemel Hempstead
£32,000 – £35,000 + Bonus
Some marketing jobs are about keeping the wheels turning. This one gives you the chance to have a say in which direction they should be heading, too.
We’re working on a retained basis with an established and growing business that is primarily B2B with an element of consumer activity. They work with some seriously impressive technology brands and support high-profile customers with specialist equipment and solutions. They’re now looking for a Marketing Coordinator who can keep campaigns moving, projects organised and deadlines under control, while also wanting to understand whether all that marketing activity is actually working.
The Role – Marketing Coordinator
You’ll take ownership of the marketing plan, coordinating campaigns across different teams, stakeholders and external partners and making sure everyone has what they need to deliver. There will be plenty happening at once, so a big part of the role is keeping activity moving, deadlines on track and the various people involved pointing in roughly the same direction.
But this isn’t just a case of ticking things off a marketing calendar. You’ll be looking at the numbers too, monitoring KPIs, analysing campaign performance and ROI and working out what landed, what didn’t and what could be done better next time. You’ll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas and help shape future activity. If you spot an opportunity or think something could work better, they’ll want to hear it.
Key Responsibilities – Marketing Coordinator
- Coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns and projects.
- Managing marketing plans, calendars, deadlines and activity schedules.
- Working with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure campaigns are delivered effectively.
- Monitoring campaign performance, engagement and ROI.
- Collating and presenting marketing metrics and performance data.
- Identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Supporting the development of longer-term marketing strategy.
- Establishing and monitoring relevant marketing KPIs.
- Preparing reports and presentations for senior stakeholders and brand partners.
About You – Marketing Coordinator
You’ll be organised, commercially aware and comfortable taking responsibility for getting things done. There will be multiple campaigns, deadlines and stakeholders competing for your attention, so you’ll need to keep on top of the detail without losing sight of why you’re doing it in the first place.
You’ll also be comfortable with data. You don’t need to be someone who dreams about spreadsheets, but you should want to know whether a campaign actually delivered rather than simply being pleased that it went live on time. Strong written communication skills, attention to detail and the confidence to put forward your own ideas will all be important. This is a role with a lot of responsibility, yet also the scope to grow with the business and own the marketing function.
Ideally, you’ll have experience of:
- Coordinating and delivering marketing campaigns.
- Using marketing data and analytics to measure performance.
- Managing multiple projects, deadlines and stakeholders.
- Producing marketing reports and presenting results.
- Supporting wider marketing strategy and planning.
- Working independently and using your initiative to improve marketing activity.
The role is predominantly office-based, although there will be times when you’ll visit customers, events and exhibitions, so a full UK driving licence is required. Based in Hemel Hempstead, the office is commutable from St Albans, Watford, Welwyn Garden City, Potters Bar, Luton, Hatfield, Ruislip and Beaconsfield.
