We're currently looking for an experienced Marketing Coordinator to join our team here at Farleys, based from our fantastic new office based in Padiham. 

Farleys’ Marketing and Business Development team’s purpose is to drive growth by promoting our firm’s services as a whole and increase the regional brand reach, by telling our story in a planned and audience-driven way; delivering strategic communications to support existing clients as well as generating new clients who are seeking legal advice.

The role as Marketing Coordinator is to support Farleys’ Business Development and Marketing team in delivering creative and impactful business development and marketing communications that grows our profile in the North West and supports brand awareness, new client generation and business goals.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will have responsibility for providing flexible support to the team, which currently includes marketing campaigns, social media marketing, events and advertising both online and offline. The team also leads on communications and marketing for corporate partnerships with a number of charities, local professional organisations and groups.

This role will require working closely with staff across the Lawfront Group, regional firms and with different departments as well as with corporate partners and external suppliers and stakeholders. You will play a supportive role, but also be given opportunities to contribute ideas and lead on projects.

Key Duties

  • Support and contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of a range of marketing activities and communications to support strategic goals.
  • Perform website marketing content management in collaboration and to align with the Group Digital Marketing strategy.
  • Support the development of content for our communications and marketing channels to ensure that Farleys communicates effectively with a range of audiences.
  • Support in the development of our internal communications programme to engage all stakeholders within Farleys and the wider Lawfront group.
  • Write, edit and proof-read content for Farleys’ website, social media, email newsletters, intranet and internal communications.
  • Management of Farleys’ marketing calendar to keep all stakeholders informed of campaigns, events and news across the firm
  • Act as a point of contact for the team and manage requests from internal stakeholders, for example for space on marketing channels or media enquiries.
  • Liaise with external suppliers, distributing briefs, obtaining quotes and liaising with Cashiers for specific pieces of work.
  • Provide guidance to staff and external stakeholders on the use of the Farleys and Lawfront brand and assets, including the logo, photography and illustrations.
  • Provide support with event management, including representing Farleys at events.
  • Providing ad-hoc support to marketing colleagues on a project-by-project basis.

Who are we looking for? 

  • CIM (desirable).
  • Educated to A level or equivalent.
  • 1 years' applied experience in a marketing role, ideally within the legal sector or professional services environment (not mandatory though).
  • Solid experience of relevant marketing related systems/ platforms.

Skills and Experience 

  • Experience of working in a communications, marketing or digital environment.
  • Good copywriting and editing skills, both for online and offline channels, and an understanding of targeting audiences.
  • Experience of liaising with external suppliers to include design agencies, conference venues etc.
  • Eye for design and experience in using Canva / any other design software.
