Marketing Executive (Part-Time / Flexible Hours)

Location:           Thame, Oxfordshire (Hybrid – 3 days office, 2 days home)
Hours:                Flexible to suit school hours (25 hours per week with flexibility for the right candidate)

CarmichaelUK is a specialist recruitment partner to the civil engineering, infrastructure and construction sectors, supplying skilled professionals and labour to some of the UK's largest and most prestigious projects.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior Marketing Executive who can take ownership of our marketing activity, bring fresh ideas, and make an immediate impact. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking a flexible role that fits around family commitments while still offering responsibility, autonomy and variety.

This is not a role for someone looking to learn the basics of marketing. We need someone who has done it before, enjoys working independently, and can hit the ground running from day one.

The Role

You'll be responsible for managing and developing our marketing strategy across multiple channels, helping to strengthen our brand, generate candidate engagement and support business growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing engaging website content and keeping our website fresh and optimised
• Managing SEO strategy and improving organic search performance
• Creating and scheduling LinkedIn content and managing our social media presence
• Producing blogs, articles and newsletters
• Managing and improving our Trustpilot and Glassdoor profiles
• Creating recruitment and brand advertising campaigns
• Designing marketing graphics and promotional materials
• Planning and producing engaging video content
• Supporting employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives
• Monitoring campaign performance and recommending improvements
• Working closely with senior management to develop new marketing ideas and campaigns

About You

We're looking for someone who:

• Has several years' experience in a senior marketing role
• Can demonstrate success across digital marketing, content creation and brand development
• Has excellent copywriting and communication skills
• Is confident managing SEO and website content
• Has experience creating graphics and video content
• Understands LinkedIn as a business development and employer branding platform
• Is highly organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Is proactive, creative and commercially minded
• Can work independently with minimal supervision
• Wants to make a genuine contribution to a growing business

Experience within recruitment, construction, engineering or another business-to-business environment would be highly advantageous.
