The Opportunity

We are working with an international engineering and technology group that is looking to appoint a commercially focused Marketing Manager to support the continued growth of the business across the UK and international markets.

This is not a traditional brand or communications marketing role. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the commercial function by delivering marketing activity that drives sales enablement, pipeline growth and business development.

Working closely with Sales, Commercial and Product teams, you'll be responsible for developing marketing initiatives that generate opportunities, strengthen customer engagement and support the wider commercial strategy. You'll also work alongside international distributors and channel partners, ensuring they are equipped with the tools, content and campaigns needed to support growth within their markets.

This is a hands-on opportunity for an adaptable and commercially minded marketer who enjoys working across multiple disciplines and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver commercially focused marketing activity aligned to sales objectives and business growth.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Commercial teams to provide effective sales enablement, including customer presentations, value propositions, collateral, campaigns and supporting materials.
  • Plan and execute B2B marketing campaigns that generate leads, increase pipeline opportunities and support revenue growth.
  • Coordinate UK and international exhibitions, trade shows and customer events.
  • Create and manage customer-focused marketing collateral, technical literature, presentations, case studies and digital content.
  • Manage website content, LinkedIn activity and wider digital marketing channels.
  • Support product launches and communicate complex technical products and solutions to target audiences.
  • Work with CRM systems to support lead management, maintain pipeline visibility and provide commercial reporting and campaign performance insights.
  • Monitor marketing activity, analyse campaign performance and identify opportunities to improve commercial outcomes.
  • Support international distributors and channel partners with marketing campaigns, promotional activity and sales enablement materials.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to deliver marketing projects across multiple business units.
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across the Group.
About You

  • Proven marketing experience within an engineering, manufacturing, industrial or technical B2B environment.
  • A strong understanding of sales enablement and the role marketing plays in supporting pipeline development and revenue growth.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and using marketing data to monitor campaign performance, pipeline activity and commercial outcomes.
  • Experience developing campaigns that support lead generation, customer engagement and business development.
  • Experience marketing technical products or solutions within an engineering or industrial B2B environment, and supporting sales through the development of compelling value propositions and sales enablement tools, would be highly advantageous.
  • Experience supporting international distributors, channel partners or multi-market marketing activity would be advantageous.
  • The ability to translate technical information into clear, customer-focused marketing messages.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working closely alongside Sales, Product and Commercial teams.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the flexibility to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with the confidence to take ownership.
