The successful Marketing Manager, Freight will be responsible for leading the planning, execution and optimisation of the marketing strategy. Based in Surrey 3 days per week with 2 from home; the successful candidate will steer the direction of of the freight proposition, building a commercial marketing ecosystem. This role will lead agency relationships and own a marketing budget; and the successful candidate should have strong B2B experience.

The successful Marketing Manager, Freight will...

  • Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies for freight services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create targeted campaigns.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.
  • Manage the creation of marketing materials, both digital and print.
  • Oversee marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective delivery.
  • Track campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and partners.
  • Ensure all marketing activities align with business objectives and branding guidelines.

Profile

A successful Marketing Manager, Freight should have:

  • Proven experience in B2B marketing, ideally within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry, Freight or Logistics. We are open to applications from outside of this sector if you can demonstrate strong commercial results, working with an industry leading brand.
  • Strong understanding of freight services and the associated market.
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Creative thinking with a focus on delivering measurable results.
