We’re looking for an experienced Master Scheduler to join a fast-paced, project-driven production environment in Birmingham on an initial 2–3 month contract, Outside IR35.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of the master project schedule, coordinating multiple workstreams across design, production, fabrication, procurement, logistics and installation.

You’ll be working closely with Project Managers, Production Managers and workshop teams to ensure complex projects remain coordinated, visible and on track.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain and continuously update master project schedules across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Coordinate timelines across design, fabrication, procurement, logistics and installation.
  • Establish and manage key milestones, dependencies, critical paths and delivery dates.
  • Monitor progress and proactively identify delays, risks, clashes and resource constraints.
  • Work closely with project and production teams to ensure schedules accurately reflect live project requirements.
  • Highlight scheduling risks and recommend practical solutions to keep delivery on track.
  • Coordinate resource requirements and sequencing across multiple workstreams.
  • Provide clear schedule and progress updates to key stakeholders.
  • Manage schedule changes and ensure these are communicated effectively across relevant teams.
  • Help improve scheduling processes and overall project visibility.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Master Scheduler, Project Scheduler, Project Planner, Production Planner or similar.
  • Experience within production, manufacturing, construction, events, experiential, creative production or another project-led environment.
  • Strong knowledge of critical path planning, dependencies, milestones and resource planning.
  • Experience managing complex schedules involving multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Strong proficiency with project planning/scheduling software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work at pace and adapt when project priorities change.
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.

This would suit an experienced scheduler who can quickly get up to speed, bring structure to a busy project environment and ensure multiple workstreams remain aligned against demanding delivery deadlines.
