Location: Birmingham
Basic Salary: Up to £40,000
OTE: Up to £50,000

THE ROLE
As a Master Technician, you will take the lead on complex technical and diagnostic work while supporting the wider workshop team.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults across a range of vehicle systems
·Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to the highest standards
·Ensuring a high level of quality and achieving a first-time fix
·Investigating customer-reported faults and identifying effective repair solutions
·Providing technical feedback and resolutions through manufacturer technical platforms
·Staying at the forefront of automotive technology, including Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
·Leading by example and demonstrating technical best practice
·Supporting, mentoring and providing technical assistance to other Technicians
·Assisting with the development and training of apprentices and junior colleagues
·Completing Vehicle Health Checks and identifying additional repair opportunities
·Maintaining accurate job documentation and repair records
·Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
·Completing MOT tests in line with DVSA standards where applicable

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for an experienced and technically capable Master Technician with:
·NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent
·Previous experience as a Master Technician, Diagnostic Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
·Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
·Additional manufacturer training and technical recognition would be advantageous
·A passion for learning and developing within modern vehicle technology
·Knowledge or experience of Hybrid and Electric Vehicles
·The ability to work independently while supporting the wider workshop team
·Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
