We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established dealership in Hull, East Yorkshire, for the position of Master Vehicle Technician. This is a highly sought-after role for experienced Master Vehicle Technicians seeking to advance their careers within a reputable and innovative automotive business.

Duties:
  • Carry out maintenance and repair work on a wide range of vehicles to manufacturer standards
  • Perform diagnostic, warranty, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs efficiently and safely
  • Support and mentor less experienced technicians, sharing expertise to promote team development
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards
  • Complete detailed reports and documentation for each service or repair conducted
  • Assist in diagnosing complex faults to achieve first-time fix success
  • Maintain workshop equipment and tools, ensuring a clean and safe working environment
Requirements for the Master Vehicle Technician role:
  • Qualified Master Vehicle Technician or fully-skilled Technician with a Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in complex diagnostics and handling a variety of mechanical and electrical repairs
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Demonstrates high safety awareness and meticulous attention to detail
  • Mentoring and knowledge-sharing mindset, with a passion for continuous professional development
  • Ability to work efficiently within a busy workshop environment
