What will you be doing?
Managing materials and stock held within a busy engineering stores environment
Receiving deliveries and processing goods through the ERP system
Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring documentation is completed correctly
Storing materials correctly to ensure traceability and prevent damage
Working closely with production teams and engineers to ensure components are available when required
Controlling the issue of materials, consumables and PPE
Maintaining records for tools, equipment and calibration schedules
Supporting continuous improvement across stores and materials processes
Ensuring materials are controlled effectively to support production deadlines

Where will you be doing it?
You will be joining a well-established engineering business that designs and manufactures specialist equipment for highly regulated industrial sectors, including energy, manufacturing and infrastructure. Based in Stone, Staffordshire, the business works on complex projects where quality, traceability and accuracy are essential. You will play a key role within the stores function, ensuring production teams have the right materials available at the right time.

What will you need?
Previous experience within materials control, stores, stock control or inventory management
Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment
Good IT skills and confidence using ERP or inventory management systems
Strong organisation skills with a methodical approach to managing stock
Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Ability to communicate effectively with production teams, engineers and suppliers
A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of tasks

Desirable:
Electrical component knowledge or experience within electrical manufacturing
Previous experience using Microsoft Navision / Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems
