Material Technician in Warrington, Cheshire

Location: Warrington
Pay Rate: £14.01 per hour
Hours: 08:00-16:00, Monday-Friday

We are looking for an experienced Materials Technician to join a busy warehouse operation in Warrington. The role will focus on the goods in and goods out process, ensuring materials are received, stored, recorded and dispatched accurately.

The successful candidate must have previous SAP experience and a valid FLT licence, along with good general warehouse experience.

• Managing goods in and goods out within the warehouse
• Receiving deliveries and checking materials against relevant paperwork
• Booking stock and materials onto SAP
• Picking, packing and preparing materials for dispatch
• Loading and unloading deliveries using an FLT
• Moving and storing materials safely around the warehouse
• Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Ensuring materials are stored in the correct locations
• Completing relevant warehouse and dispatch documentation
• Supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the warehouse
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

• Previous SAP experience is essential
• Valid FLT licence is essential
• Previous experience working within a warehouse, materials or logistics environment
• Experience with goods in and goods out
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Confident using warehouse and stock management systems
• Reliable with a good approach to health and safety
• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• £14.01 per hour
• Monday to Friday working hours
• 08:00-16:00 shifts
• Full-time temporary position
• Warrington location
