Job Role: Materials Controller
Location: Rotherham
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
Metalis are working with a family run engineering business in Rotherham, who are looking for a Materials Controller to join their team.
Job Duties:
- Focus on stock control and materials handling
- Support the processing team when needed
- Carry out stock checks and update internal systems
- Operate a Reach Truck
- Pick materials for production jobs
- Load and unload materials
- Approximately 80% of the role will involve stock control duties with the remaining time supporting processing operations.
Job Requirements:
- Valid Reach Truck Licence
- Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Experience using stock control systems
- Basic machine operation (saws, industrial machinery etc)
- Afternoon/night shift work may be required from time to time
Salary, Shift & Benefits:
- £27,000 - £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 7am - 3pm, 8am - 4pm & Friday, 7am - 2:30pm
