The Opportunity

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced Materials Handler to work in Stores on Days, reporting to the Materials Handling Team Leader

The Role

• The day to day picking and identification of parts for AHU & spares orders
• Packing parts suitable for UK & Export despatch (boxes, crates, pallets etc)
• Booking parts in/out through SAP computer system
• Booking consignments/creating daily manifests via Courier computer systems
• Liaising with despatch Courier Drivers
• Dealing professionally with customer collections
• Providing cover for both Unit 37 & Unit 21/22 Stores role

Desired Skills/Experience

• The successful candidate should have the following skills:
• Computer Literate
• Ability to work under pressure and to work to tight deadlines
• Be capable of working unsupervised & able to use own initiative
• Good Communication skills
• FLT & full driving licence (FLT training can be provided if you currently do not hold a licence)
• Experience with SAP is desirable but not essential (training will be provided)

Training will be provided for the right applicant to develop the skills & knowledge required for the position.
