Materials Handler in Glasgow, City of Glasgow

STEM Recruitment are recruiting for a Materials Handler for our client based in Glasgow.

Temporary 9 months contract

Dayshift, Mon – Fri

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for the receipt of incoming goods, ensuring materials received are in good condition, fit for use and are logged into computer system.
• As our Material Handler, you will work closely with Quality Control, Purchasing & end users to make materials available and help resolve any issues relating to raw materials.
• You will be supported by your Materials Supervisor to meet internal customer needs on a high throughput site. 
• You’ll own practical tasks like identifying slow-moving stock, tackling waste by preventing expiry, and running smart stock counts that keep our supply chain agile.
