Materials & Planning Manager

Are you an experienced Supply Chain or S&OP professional with a background in FMCG or fast-paced manufacturing?
We're recruiting for a Planning & Materials Manager to join a successful manufacturing business, leading the Planning and Materials teams to deliver an effective S&OP process, optimise inventory and ensure excellent customer service.
The Role
- Lead and develop the Planning and Materials teams.
- Drive the S&OP process, balancing demand, capacity and material availability.
- Deliver robust production plans and improve supply chain performance.
- Manage supplier performance and material flow.
- Improve KPIs including OTIF, inventory, stock turns and waste reduction.
- Work closely with Operations, Procurement and Commercial teams to drive continuous improvement.
The successful Materials & Planning Manager
- Proven S&OP, Supply Chain Planning or Materials Planning experience within FMCG or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong people management and leadership skills.
- Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced Excel knowledge.
- A continuous improvement mindset with Lean manufacturing experience.
