Location: Harlow, Essex Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Contract: Term Time Only | Part Time (3 hours per day, either 4 or 5 days per week) Start Date: ASAP or January 2027

Working closely with the Maths Department, you will provide targeted intervention and support for students who require additional assistance in developing their numeracy and mathematical understanding. Key Responsibilities
· Deliver high-quality one-to-one and small group maths intervention sessions.
· Support students who need additional help to close learning gaps.
· Work collaboratively with maths teachers to identify student needs and plan effective intervention strategies.
· Monitor, track and report on student progress.
· Adapt resources and teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs.
· Encourage student engagement, confidence and resilience in mathematics.
· Support the school's wider commitment to raising attainment and achievement.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
· A strong background in mathematics education or numeracy support.
· Experience working with secondary school-aged students.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· The ability to motivate and inspire young people.
· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
· A patient, nurturing and positive approach.
· Relevant qualifications in mathematics, education, tutoring or a related field.
