Teach Now is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Mathematics Teacher for a secondary school opportunity in Hertfordshire.
The successful teacher will inspire pupils across KS3 and KS4, building confidence in mathematical reasoning, problem solving and core numeracy while preparing examination groups effectively.
- Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons.
- Teach across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities depending on experience.
- Prepare pupils effectively for assessments and GCSE examinations.
- Use assessment data to identify gaps and target support.
- Differentiate lessons for pupils of varying attainment.
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic progress.
- UK QTS or recognised equivalent.
- Degree or strong subject background in Mathematics.
- Experience teaching the UK secondary curriculum.
- Strong classroom and behaviour management.
- ECTs and experienced Maths teachers are encouraged to apply.
