Maths Graduate

Academics are supporting a secondary school in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire who are seeking a Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant to start fulltime from September.

If you hold a degree in maths, then this could be the ideal position for you. The school are looking for graduates that are enthusiastic about mathematics and have a genuine desire to better the educational outcomes of the pupils they work with.

The opportunity:
* September 2026 start
* Secondary School in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire
* Full-time role, Monday-Friday
* £100 per day
* Graduate Maths Teaching Assistant
* Hold a maths degree (or related) with a 2:2 or above

The Role:
The appointed Maths Teaching Assistant will work closely with the maths department to support pupils across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will deliver targeted small group interventions, assist in lessons, and provide one-to-one support where needed to help pupils master mathematical concepts. You will also help pupils prepare for important assessments and build their confidence in problem-solving and exam techniques

The successful graduate must:
* A graduate with a degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
* A strong understanding of mathematical concepts and curriculum content.
* Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to engage and motivate students.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A passion for education and helping students succeed.
