ANZUK Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in the London Borough of Merton to recruit a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher for a full-time position commencing in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a talented teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking Maths department committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates.

The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Maths lessons to secondary-aged students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic success.
• Plan, prepare and assess work in line with the national curriculum.
• Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support attainment.
• Contribute to departmental initiatives and wider school life.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a teacher who:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has experience teaching Maths within a UK secondary school setting.
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for Mathematics.
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Is committed to supporting students of all abilities to achieve their potential.
• Is enthusiastic, adaptable and able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
