Would you like the opportunity to work four days per week, Monday to Thursday, within a supportive and well-established secondary school?

Classroom Talent is working in partnership with a highly regarded secondary school in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, who are looking to appoint a Maths Teacher from January 2027 through to July 2027.

This is a fantastic opportunity for either an experienced Maths Teacher or a confident ECT looking to join a supportive department for the remainder of the academic year.

The successful candidate will be teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4 and working as part of an established Maths department.

MATHS TEACHER – THE ROLE

• Maths Teacher
• January 2027 start
• Long-term position until July 2027
• 4 days per week – Monday to Thursday
• Teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging Maths lessons
• Marking and assessing pupil progress
• Working collaboratively with the existing Maths department
• Supporting pupils of varying abilities to make strong progress
• Competitive daily rate dependent on experience

MATHS TEACHER – PERSON SPECIFICATION

• UK QTS/QTLS preferred
• ECTs are welcome to apply
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• Confident teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging and well-structured lessons
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Reliable and committed to the role through to July 2027
• Able to work collaboratively as part of an established department
• Passionate about helping pupils achieve their potential
