EduTalent Group are working with an established British-curriculum international school in the Valencia region is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Mathematics Teacher to join its secondary department.

Location: Valencia region, Spain

Contract: Full-time, permanent

Start date: 1 September 2026

Salary: €29,500–€31,000 per year

The successful candidate will teach Mathematics across Key Stages 4 and 5, preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community in a beautiful setting, with convenient access to Valencia city and the Mediterranean coast.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons at KS4 and KS5.
  • Prepare students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Assess, monitor and report on students’ progress.
  • Adapt teaching to meet different learning needs and abilities.
  • Maintain high expectations for achievement, behaviour and participation.
  • Provide constructive feedback and additional support where required.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Mathematics department.
  • Contribute to the wider academic life of the school.
  • Maintain high standards of safeguarding and student welfare.

Candidate Requirements

Applicants MUST have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status, a PGCE OR equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • A relevant degree or strong academic background in Mathematics.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at KS4 and KS5.
  • Experience preparing students for IGCSE and A-Level examinations.
  • Strong knowledge of the British National Curriculum.
  • The right to live and work in Spain.
  • Native Level English

Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and suitably qualified early-career teachers. Spanish language skills are not required.

Salary and Benefits

The salary is €29,500–€31,000 per year. New teachers begin on €29,500, with opportunities for annual increases through the school’s loyalty pay scale. Other perks included.
