The Role

As a Maths Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
  • Inspire students to develop confidence and enjoyment in Mathematics.
  • Monitor, assess and track student progress effectively.
  • Use data to inform teaching and raise attainment.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, achievement and engagement.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the continued success of the Mathematics department.

We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for your subject.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to raising attainment and improving outcomes.
  • High expectations of behaviour and achievement.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
