We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in Horley, Surrey.
The school supports pupils with additional needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism and Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD).
The Role:
- Teach Maths across an SEN setting.
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
- Support pupils in building confidence, developing skills and achieving their potential.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience.
- Experience teaching Maths, ideally within an SEN setting.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- A patient, adaptable and engaging approach to teaching.
