This is a fantastic full-time opportunity to inspire students within a supportive Mathematics department, delivering high-quality lessons and helping learners develop confidence and achieve their full potential in mathematics.
About the RoleAs a Maths Teacher, you will:
- Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for the right candidate.
- Plan and deliver lessons in line with departmental schemes of work and curriculum objectives.
- Monitor, assess, and support student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Mark and assess student work accurately and in a timely manner.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that promotes a love of mathematics.
- Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students and encourage high levels of achievement.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support departmental initiatives and enrichment activities.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
- Experience teaching Mathematics within a secondary school setting.

- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive approach to teaching.
- Ability to motivate students of all abilities and support excellent progress.
