This is an excellent opportunity to teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities for Key Stage 5 teaching depending on experience. What You'll Be Doing- Deliver engaging and challenging Mathematics lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 if able)
- Use a variety of teaching approaches to support learners of differing abilities and learning styles.
- Track student achievement and implement strategies to maximise progress and attainment.
- Create a classroom culture where students feel motivated, supported and confident to succeed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to the continued success of the Mathematics department.
- Prepare students for examinations and help them develop strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, effort and participation across all lessons.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school and support its commitment to student wellbeing and safeguarding.
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Has a degree in Mathematics or a related subject area.
- Demonstrates strong curriculum knowledge and a genuine passion for Mathematics.
- Can build positive relationships with students, staff and parents.
- Has the ability to inspire students and make learning accessible and enjoyable.
- Is committed to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Can work effectively as part of a collaborative and dedicated department.
