Job Title:             Wash Tank Assembly Operative

Hours of work:  40hrs per week Mon-Fri (Overtime available based on production demand)

Reports To:         Production Supervisor

We’re a well‑established, family‑run UK manufacturer looking for a hands‑on, reliable person to join our Wash Tank Assembly team. This is a permanent role with long‑term stability, training, and opportunities to learn new skills across different areas of the business.

The role

You’ll assemble wash tank products using engineering drawings, hand tools and power tools. You’ll follow quality procedures to ensure products are built right first time. The work is practical, varied and suited to someone who enjoys using tools and working with their hands.

A typical day includes

• Assembling components using hand and power tools
• Following engineering drawings and quality checks
• Working to deadlines with changing priorities
• Keeping your workstation organised
• Supporting the wider production team when needed

What we’re looking for

• Experience in assembly or manufacturing (preferred, not essential)
• Good attention to detail
• Able to follow instructions and work independently
• Positive, reliable and keen to learn
• Good English speaking and writing

Training provided

We’ll train you in:

• Reading and understanding engineering drawings
• Mechanical and electrical assembly
• Quality procedures and right‑first‑time principles
• Safe use of tools and equipment
