Are you an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer, with a background in the automotive or heavy industry sectors, looking to join a well-established clean-tech business offering excellent opportunities for career progression?
Established in 2012, the company operates across two UK sites and a site in Prague. Specialising in the design and development of Shape Memory Alloy technologies, their creative solutions are supplied to a range of industries, including HVAC, automotive, aerospace and medtech.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing machinery and equipment. You will produce CAD drawings, bills of materials, schematics, and supporting concept development and detailed design in accordance with ISO 9001 quality standards.
This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in the design of heat pumps, engines or thermal systems. It offers an excellent opportunity to join an established clean-tech business focused on developing innovative technologies and reducing carbon emissions.
The Role:
- Contribute to the design of mechanical systems, hydraulics and structural components
- Using SolidWorks to aid with concept definition, system design and component selection
- Adhering to ISO9001 and CE marking to achieve type certification
The Person:
- Experience in mechanical design of machinery in the heavy/automotive industry
- Experience with SolidWorks
