Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong, recent SolidWorks experience, looking for a technically varied position where you can work on bespoke products from initial concept through to manufacture?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing manufacturer where you will become a key member of an experienced design team, taking ownership of technically interesting projects while continuing to develop your skills within a supportive working environment.

This well established company has over 30 years of success designing and manufacturing innovative bespoke products. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to strengthen their mechanical design team with an experienced engineer who can hit the ground running.

In this role you will use SolidWorks to develop bespoke products against customer focused design briefs, producing detailed 3D models, assemblies, Bills of Materials and manufacturing drawings. You will work closely with production and other departments to ensure designs are practical, accurate and ready for manufacture.

This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong commercial SolidWorks experience and a background in manufacturing, looking for varied bespoke projects, further technical development and excellent long term prospects.

The Role:

* Designing bespoke products from concept through to manufacture
* Producing detailed 3D SolidWorks models, assemblies and manufacturing drawings
* Working with multiple part assemblies and Bills of Materials
* Working closely with production and wider project teams
* Flexible working hours with an early finish every Friday

The Person:

* Strong, recent commercial SolidWorks experience
* Mechanical design and manufacturing experience
* Experience with 3D modelling, assemblies and manufacturing drawings
* Looking for a long term permanent opportunity
