Mechanical Designer – Building Services

Location: South East London

Salary: £40,000 to £45,000

An opportunity has opened for a Mechanical Designer to join a Building Services company based in South East London. The ideal candidate will have experience using Revit and AutoCAD 2D and be looking for work within the Building Services industry, HVAC, MEP or similar.

The company are growing rapidly and the role offers training to become a Senior Design Engineer within the sector for people looking for this. They have a great list of benefits including a generous holiday allocation.

Mechanical Designer Key Skills:

• Experience working as a CAD Technician, Designer or similar
• HVAC, MEP, Building Services or similar experience
• Revit experience
• AutoCAD 2D / 3D
• An understanding of Engineering drawings 
• CAD design and drawings experience
• Mechanical biased

Mechanical Designer Responsibilities:

• Working with the Engineering team, creating new drawings of HVAC / MEP systems as well as drainage, fire systems and other security layouts
• Using Revit and AutoCAD for drawings 
• Managing CAD libraries and maintenance 
• Working to client specs and making changes where needed
