Mechanical Designer 

6 Month Contract

Our client is a leading organisation who focus on sustainability and have grown significantly over the years. They are seeking a mechanical designer to join their engineering team on a 6 month contract. 

Key aspects of this role include:

Mechanical Designer

• Drive a proactive safety culture and ensure engineering design is to BATNEEC and gas regulation standards.

• Detailed Mechanical design and layouts of the plant, accurate to the P&ID, completed in a timely manner and to the appropriate design standard (EN13480/ASME B31.3) using Plant 3D software package.

• Liaison on technical details of all mechanical aspects, during the tendering and design scoping process with suppliers /contractors

• Complete and regularly review development and training plans to ensure you are up to date on all legal compliance and appropriate skill set.

• Support mechanical construction completion with the dedicated project engineer

• Responsible for ensuring that the engineering drawing files, and library are always up to date
