Are you an experienced Mechanical Engineer looking for your next contract opportunity?

A leading Facilities Management provider is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join its team in Barton-under-Needwood on an initial 3-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a well-established site carrying out a varied mix of planned and reactive maintenance.

The Role As the Mechanical Engineer, you'll:
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across site.
  • Respond to reactive maintenance requests and mechanical breakdowns.
  • Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently.
  • Perform mechanical inspections and ensure equipment remains operational.
  • Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain high service standards.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures.
You To be successful in the role of Mechanical Engineer, you'll bring:
  • Previous experience within mechanical maintenance, building services, or industrial engineering.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
  • A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications are advantageous.
