This multidisciplinary consultancy delivers facilities management and property consultancy services across a broad range of public and private sector clients. Working predominantly with County Councils and educational estates alongside an expanding private sector portfolio, they provide a varied workload across projects ranging from small maintenance works through to £1 million developments. With a collaborative culture, flexible working and continued investment in staff, they continue to grow their engineering team.

In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of Mechanical Building Services projects from concept through to completion. You will produce designs, specifications, tender documentation and cost estimates, manage contracts, liaise with clients and stakeholders, oversee project profitability and promote sustainable engineering solutions across a variety of building projects.

The ideal candidate will have Mechanical Building Services design experience, the ability to manage independently and strong knowledge of running projects from inception through to completion.

The Role

• Leading Mechanical Building Services projects from inception through to completion
• Producing designs, specifications, drawings and tender documentation
• Managing contracts and project delivery
• Preparing budget estimates and monitoring project costs
• Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders
• Supporting condition, asset and dilapidation surveys where required
• Hybrid working between the Leeds office, home and project sites

The Person

• Mechanical Building Services design experience
• Experience delivering projects from inception through to completion
• Able to work autonomously
• Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• CSCS Card and Full UK Driving Licence
